AMITY TOUR

Vessel Walkthrough
Main deck accommodations include a spacious Aft Deck, Salon, open Galley, formal Dining Area and a truly private Office. Forward on the main deck is the spacious Owner’s Cabin and a nearly identical VIP that can become part of the Owner’s Suite for true megayacht accommodations.

Below decks are similar two Guest Cabins, one with an Office area, the Laundry Center, a real Shop area, twin Engine Rooms, a Dive/Sport Room and a functional Tender Garage for the yacht’s second tender.

Joinery throughout the vessel is a high quality raised panel cherry with a matt finish. Cabin doorways are arched and all the colors and fabrics used are all of good taste. The sole throughout most of the vessel is Brazilian cherry plank.

Salon
Upon entering the yacht AMITY from the Aft Deck the nearly 28’ beam becomes readily apparent. Even with ample walk around side decks one feels like they are aboard a much larger yacht. Immediately noticeable is the cherry wood spiral staircase forward. This is the primary access to the Pilothouse.

The room is paneled in cherry raised paneling joinery. To starboard are two matching occasional chairs with a free standing end table cabinet between. A brass table lamp is above. Outboard to starboard is a storage cabinet followed by a Sony flat screen TV behind disappearing cherry doors.

Next forward is a CD/VCR storage cabinet followed by a Sony SLVN500 VHS recorder, a Dish network receiver, three channel modulator and an Apex AD 1201 DVD player behind a smoked glass door. A curved blue sofa facing aft with a large storage ottoman offers plenty of seating.

Forward of the couch is another cabinet with Kenwood VR 6030 audio video receiver and a Sony 300 CD Mega storage CD player. Also in the Salon are six halogen mini spots, ample windows with Silhouette adjustable translucent/opaque shades, two stereo speakers, Marine Air digital AC controls with heat strip, and Phantom disappearing screen at the entry door.

Dining Salon
Occupying the port side of the Salon and just aft of but open to the Galley is the Dining Area. The oval cherry table seats eight (with extension leaf) in upholstered chairs.

Outboard to port is a banquet with five cabinet doors with pull out storage drawers and a hinged bar top forward with ample storage.

An entry door with a retractable screen between the Galley and Dining Salon made side boarding easy. The large side and aft windows have Silhouette adjustable translucent/opaque shades.

Also in this area are two stereo speakers, seven overhead mini spots and Marine Air digital AC controls with heat strip.

Galley
The Galley is on the main deck, forward but open to the Salon on the port side. It is U shaped and contains all the equipment listed below:

Office
Forward of the Salon and forward of the starboard side entry door with screen and circular stairs to the Pilothouse is the private Office. There is an 8’ desk with a 3.5’ return facing a cabin side window with a Silhouette adjustable shade. The desk has a leather executive, hi lo swivel chair with rollers. The desk has seven drawers and two cabinets. Above are dozens of binders with AMITY user manuals.

The office computer is a Dell tower with a CD burner and a Brother color printer, fax, copier and scanner. The monitor is a Samsung Synch 150 MP 15” flat panel monitor with TV tuner. An Icom Command mic is tied to the VHF at the Nav Station. Music is from a Jensen 3010X AM/FM/CD receiver with two poly planer speakers in the overhead. Also in this area is a Panasonic telephone.

Additionally there is a window facing the Salon, an arched cherry entry door, cherry wainscoating and a Brazilian cherry sole.

Overhead are four halogen mini spots, rope lighting at the window and fluorescent task lights. This area also had Marine Air digital controls with a heat strip.

Main Deck Accommodations
Forward and one step up from the Galley/Office area on centerline is the Main Deck Accommodation. An arched cherry door separates this area from the common areas aft.

The two cabins split the beam 55/45 with the Master occupying the larger side. A very interesting feature on AMITY is that the VIP Cabin can be converted to a lounge for the Master Cabin. The berth folds up, leaving room for a quickly installed desk, creating an adjoining sitting room the Master. With only a few minutes time the area can quickly be converted back to the VIP Cabin.

Of course each area has its own full Head with shower.

Of special note in both the on deck cabins is the 11’ headroom aft that tapers forward 7’ forward. Each cabin has an opening Lewmar hatch with sliding screen and privacy shade.

Master Cabin
Entering from the centerline companionway is the Master Cabin featuring an athwartship master berth with rope lighting and six drawers below the berth. The aft side of the berth has a nightstand with one drawer and one cabinet below and brass swing arm lamps above. The headboard is padded vinyl with a fluted cherry border.

The forward nightstand has three drawers with a Panasonic Hybrid phone above. The cedar lined auto lit hanging locker is very large, has two rods for clothes and lies behind a cherry louvered door. Next outboard are four drawers and two cabinets with a 13” RCA TV above. Aft are storage areas, bookshelves, four cabinet doors with clothing storage within and a Jensen CD 3010X AM/FM/CD receiver wired to the main stereo system.

Master Head
The Master Head is en suite with the Master. The sole is cork tile, the toilet is a Royal Flush by Head Hunter. The vanity has four drawers and one cabinet below the bow front sink with a Corian countertop, seamless sink and a Kholer faucet. Open storage cuddies for towels are below.

A large mirror with both fluorescent and three halogen mini spots are in the soffit above.

The tub/shower has a curtain, hand held or wall mountable Kholer shower fixture, light and an exhaust fan.

Also in the Head are stereo speakers, and a large exterior window with Silhouette translucent or opaque shades. The AC system in the Master Head is an individual unit slave to the Master Cabin.

VIP Cabin
Entered via the center companionway through an arched cherry raised panel door the VIP Cabin has an athwartships berth that folds up into an attractive wall unit “Murphy Bed” style. Fore and aft of the berth are nightstands with one drawer and one cabinet aft and one drawer, two cabinets and a Panasonic hybrid phone forward. Brass swing arm lamps fold out of the wall unit. This “Murphy Bed” feature would not be noticeable if not mentioned. Attractive raised panel cherry wainscoating with vinyl panels above give to the cabin a very open feeling. Large fixed windows with Silhouette type translucent or opaque shades are outboard. Below are three cabinet doors, two bookshelves and four open shelves. Forward are four drawers and two cabinets with an RCA 13” TV above. An unusually large cedar lined hanging locker with auto light and louvered cherry door is also forward. Also in the cabin is a free standing upholstered chair with reading light, four overhead mini spots, Marine Air digital AC controls with heat strip and a Jensen CD3010X AM/FM/CD receiver wired to the Aux output of the yacht’s main stereo.

Construction Notes
AMITY is built to the latest specs and advance standards typical of Northwest builders who seem to be on the cutting edge of composite construction. The bow, keels and prop pockets are all Kevlar lined for durability and safety.

Comments
AMITY is truly a custom yacht. Her owners finessed and improved a basic builder’s design for years before starting construction. The result is one of the best thought out and spacious yachts in her size range.

Besides the obvious benefit of a wide beam and excellent stability the Catamaran design offers unheard of efficiency with modest power requirements.

AMITY would be hard to replace and has features such as a Workshop, Dive/Sport Room and a Tender Garage that would not be found on similar size yachts.

Exclusions
While every effort was made to list all pertinent included equipment aboard AMITY, there are some personal belongings aboard. Prospective purchasers should assume any item not specifically mentioned herein will not convey at closing.
